Garden.City introduces homeowners and organizations to independent professionals. We do not perform garden work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a professional. We do not guarantee the quality, licensing, insurance, pricing or availability of any professional. Please check credentials, references and written contracts before hiring. Professionals may pay Garden.City a referral fee.
3. Pro network
Professionals who join the network agree to respond promptly and honestly to referred requests, hold any licences and insurance required in their area, and pay agreed referral fees. Terms and pricing are confirmed in writing before any lead is billed.
4. Contests
Contests are governed by the official rules published on the contests page, which prevail over these terms for contest matters.
5. Contributions
Financial contributions support Garden.City’s operations and are voluntary. Garden.City is not a registered charity and contributions are not tax-deductible. Recurring contributions can be cancelled at any time by contacting us.
6. Your submissions
You are responsible for information and content you submit. Don’t submit anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes others’ rights. You keep ownership of your content and grant us the licence needed to process it for the purpose you submitted it.
7. Intellectual property
Text, tools, graphics and design are owned by Garden.City or its licensors. See the disclaimer and trademark notice.
8. Third-party links and ads
We link to and embed third-party content and display third-party ads. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garden.City is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the website, tools or services, and the website is provided “as is” without warranties.
